La topographie des lieux avantageait théoriquement le slovaque, qui joue à domicile en résidant en effet dans la capitale du pays, plutôt que l'allemand Topo !

Quoiqu'il arrive, le "vétéran" de 34 ans aura su bien résister au plus jeune que lui de 13 ans ! Il a même eu une balle de match durant le dernier tie-break sur le service de son adversaire.
