" Players may accept up to five (5) main draw singles wild cards into ATP
World Tour tournaments during any ATP Circuit Year. Wild cards shall only count
toward the annual limit if the player would have been a direct acceptance on the
original acceptance list. Additional exceptions are outlined below."
---> Page 99, donc là on est même descendus à 5 WC.
Page 100 y'a des exceptions, ça dit qu'on peut rajouter une WC pour :
- Un joueur qui n'a pas joué de tournois pendant 6 mois, donc ça lui en fait une de plus, 6 WC autorisées.
- Un joueur qui a 35 ans ou plus qui a été numéro 1 ou vainqueur de GC/Masters n'a pas de limite de WC (complètement débile), mais ça ne le concerne pas.
- Une WC reçue parce que son classement ne l'autorisait pas à entrer au moment des inscriptions, mais qu'ensuite au moment du tournoi son classement avait augmenté ne compte pas dans ce total, mais c'est pas le cas non plus pour lui.
Donc en gros on reste à 6 WC. :X
Le rulebook de l'ATP s'applique à l'ATP, c'est le seul je pense 😊
Et voici l'article de l'ATP en question :
"Players may accept up to five (5) main draw singles wild cards into ATP

may petition the ATP for one additional wild card."
Donc à priori pour DelPo, la limite est de 5+1 = 6 WC ...
SAUF QUE NON ! 😛
==> "b) In the event that a player’s position in the Emirates ATP Rankings is insufficient
to make him a direct acceptance on the forty-two (42) day acceptance
list, then he shall be released from his commitment to that tournament, unless
offered a wild card to the contract tournament within twenty-four (24) hours of
the entry deadline. Such wild card accepted by a player shall not count in the
player’s annual limitation of five (5) wild cards in singles."
Si je comprends bien cette règle plus qu'ambiguë, il n'y a donc absolument aucune limitation de Wild-Cards en ATP hahaha :D
